Hey all,
I've got a client in Alberta with a natural gas installation, and he's looking for manual shut-off valves. The installation falls under CSA B149.1 and CSA B149.3. In a typical installation, valves approved to CGA 3.11, lubricated plug-valves for natural gas, or CGA 3.16, manual valves for natural gas, would suffice, but the natural gas pressure can reach 150 psig. Both CGA 3.11 and 3.16 are limited to 125 psig and less. CSA Z245.15, Steel Valves for gas piping, can go to higher pressures, but it's limited to NPS 2 and larger.
Any other manual valve gas codes I should be aware of?
Thanks.
