Can you move a reference point as you would translate an instance?

I have an assembly with many parts all over the place. I would like to set a reference point at a certain point, then move it for example 1 in the x-axis and 2 in the z-axis. I cannot use the "Translate instance" feature on reference point. I tried to go to Feature-Edit, but when I try to edit the reference point to move its position I get the warning message "The selected feature has no modifiable parameters".

Any way to move reference point in the way I want to?

When you assign a reference point by directly clicking on any point of a part (beam, shell etc.), you can not edit its coordinate. You can assign displacement or velocity boundary conditions to the reference point for moving. Then the part that you assigned the reference point can move based on the constraint between the reference point and the part.

It depends on how the reference point is created. If you define it directly, by specifying the coordinates then you can use Edit Feature to modify those coordinates. But reference points are often based on datum points and then you can't edit their coordinates directly. Instead, you can move the existing datum point or create a new one and assign the reference point to it.
