Can this be done with VSS?

I was able to create this model with a swept blend.
However I want to get better at variable section sweep
and could not get it to work.

Here is a link to the model, I had trouble uploading
the file. http://spicycopywriter.info/foldedplates.htm

I tried adjusting the section plane control and also
the sections. I tried projecting on to different planes
but the models never turned out right and often were very
warped.
The sections in the shown model come from one sketch
that was copy/pasted and then scaled up.

Thanks
Rick

Are you trying to control the shape along sweep line? VSS would do it, just let us know what you want to achieve.

Yes, I want to maintain that shape. The main trajectory is
an arc that is above the sections. I had two other
trajectories, one on each side for the horizontal control.
The planes for the horizontal trajectories were offset from
the main trajectory plane and then tilted out 30 degrees.

Still not sure what you want to vary. The picture shows a start serration and an end serration on fixed planes, if those are fixed then the only thing you can vary is the path from start to finish and the rate of growth of the serration along the path. You can control these using a graph fuction in a VSS.

I'll try another picture. The line in red is the main
trajectory. The arcs on both sides are secondary
trajectories. I want to sweep the serrated section along
the main trajectory but using the secondary trajectories.

There are an unlimited way of varying the shape as its driven from start to finish. Here is a file that shows one use of VSS if you are not familiar with it.

Thanks for your help. I don't know what I was doing wrong
but I have got it working now.
