I'm aware that there is a relationship between the time-record length, frequency span, frequency resolution, and number of lines as shown in Figure 1 and Figure 2. I did a test using dual channels with the following settings:
Frequency Span = 3.2kHz
Number of Lines = 1600 lines
Time-Record Length is found to be about 0.5s, whilst the frequency resolution is 2Hz. There are 4096 samples in the captured time data.
For Agilent 35670A, is it possible to increase the Time-Record Length (e.g. from 0.5s to 1s), while maintaining the frequency span at 3.2kHz?
