Can anyone tell me what this European symbol on a oil filled xfmr temp monitor means? 1

This symbol is on a xfmr vendor print. The gauge measures the temperature of the windings.

Windings are connected in parallel for the low voltage of a dual voltage transformer??

It's not a dual voltage transformer. And this symbol is not on the nameplate of the xfmr. It's a temp gauge on the transformer, and this device is part of it. It's wired out to terminals. RTD?

"Looks like" an RTD and a second RTD for the gauge?

Best to you,

We were expecting an RTD that has three wires to monitor the winding temperature. That's what the PLC is set up to accept. There is a conflict between the PLC dwgs and the xfmr drawings. The PLC drawings show an I1+, I1-, and a ZP connection. I look through this article and see the 3-wire RTD shown..not exactly what we've got but close.

A WTI doesn't usually measure the winding temperature directly. They typically measure the oil temperature using a capillary bulb and use a CT hanging on one of the phases to drive a bias heater so that the winding temperature can be inferred from the oil temperature. The second element may be a trimming resistor for calibration.

Possibly a pot driven by the temperature gauge movement?
