Calculation of web thickness of gears,ropedrums etc 1

I need to design a main hoist rope drum of 100t eot crane.I can select the drum od from standards depending upon rope dia.Thickness of shell can also be calculated from rope tension and distance between webs.However i don't know how to calculate the thickness of web connecting drum shell to boss that houses shaft.Please
help
