Hello Everyone!

I am working on an energy engineering project, but basically I am a mechanical engineer, so I need a little help! My exercise is: I have to calculate the heat loss of industrial pipe systems with valves and flanges using the ISO 12241 standard. I already did the heat calculation for basic pipes and I get the correct result, but I do not find or just do not understand the correct formula to calculate the heat loss for flanges and basic valves as well! I find, how to calculate the area of basic valves and flanges so I just need to calculate the heat loss, and calculate the insulated heat loss. Please if someone has any experience in the same exercises, help me! Thank you for your help and understanding!
