I've been looking around but so far have come up relativly empty handed. While the ContentCentral is not bad, are there any places that have repositories of CAD files? Right now i'm looking for the model of a Gator (the golf cart like thing), and regularly run into times I just need aproximate models for getting the point across in renderings.

thanks,
Alex

There are lots of places for models in different formats, and often you'd have to pay for the models and maybe even convert them into a useful format with external software. Otherwise, finding unique items in SW format can be difficult.

And it's been mentioned here before all manufacturer specific parts ThomasNet.com and send for PartSpec cd's.
There are currently (8) of them and you can't beat the price.... free.
