Hello all,
does any of you have any concerns/thoughts re: the storage and distribution of 35% liquid CaCl2? I have this installation with pvc pipes going from a truck loading station to a storage tank and from there to the workshops. I don't have much information, and from what i could find on the net, it doesn't look like a liquid to be very concerned about. It's mildly corrosive, so let's not use metal pipe, or always have them full to minimise exposure with air. And keep it under acidic range.
CaCl2 also produces heat when dissolved in water. It doesn't seem to me like something to worry about. Or am i forgetting something?
Thanks!

PVC pipes and a product that heats up when dissolved in water- do you have a problem.......maybe.

Depends on whether you are mixing it up yourself or having it delivered as is. Maybe check how hot it can get if you make it up to the most concentrated solution you can- and see if that temperature is a problem for you.
