Hi, here is a question I need help.

A 3/C #14 AWG Rockbestos cable for a Astrodyne power supply (30W, 120VAC input) has been routed. Then it was found out that power supply can only terminate #18 AWG cable. Can some kind of adapter be used? I have no such experience before. Please advise.

Thanks

htap/reducing splice
What is the connection type at the power supply.. barrier strip? set screw connector?
If barrier strip type connection then just use the right size fork/ring terminal

mcgyvr; It has screw connector. So what should be used? Thanks

screw connector..
Then assuming stranded wire, a "wire ferrule" (flat or round blade) as posted by flexo above will work just fine too.
