Dear's,

we came across in the specification, the ship owner requirements to "Design pressure of deck piping 40barg and lower design temperature -55°C. All cargo isolation valves shall be top entry cavity free torque seated eccentric c‐type ball valves.
cryogenic applications LNG cargo handling system, understand only one manufacture supplying this type of valves, if anyone knows other european or USA manufacturers , please help to advice me the company to contact them for more details, thank you in advance.

Regards,
Ravi.

Ship spezifications to be fulfilled for a builder/owner and a specified authority, will, as you presume, be limited to the producers that both comply and will be acknowledged by all as accepted certified valves.

Thus it is more to find the answer to this (easiest is to ask if the owner has prequalified producers or have preferences), more than find a new supplier and try to qualify an earlier untried producer.

But yes, on world-wide basis, there is always competition. Best way is a net or phone search.

Top entry is the tough part. I’ve worked on a lot of projects that had a similar requirement, but ultimately the specifications were changed to accept a 3 piece valve instead of top entry.
