Hi gents,

I am wondering if anyone out there has a centreline symbol they have created for use with NX? It seems odd that such a basic, common symbol is not included.

All you have to do is, while in Drafting, go to...

Insert -> Symbol -> Custom Symbol...

...and select the 'Unigraphics Symbols' library. You will find a Center-Line symbol there along with several other useful items.

Thanks John, I didn't look there. I had only looked at the symbols available when the text command is active. Many thanks

Isn't it also availbale in Blockfont as $C?
(Or am I aging myself with that?)

Ben,

You are 'aging yourself' ;-)

However, $c gives you a 'Circle'. The centerline symbol (there's actually 2 different ones in the default 'Blockfont') requires either the character set $u or $5.
