Hi all,

If you a have a drafting symbol on a drawing sheet (not attached to anything), is there a trick (keyboard button etc) which can be used to force the symbol or object to only drag in the X or Y axis?

Thanks in advance

If you use the move object command (dynamic option), you can drag on the arrows to move it in the desired direction. I don't know of any tricks to lock in a direction when just dragging a symbol with the mouse, but a method to do that would be useful. Maybe file an enhancement request (ER)?

Cheers, didn’t think of that.

I’ll submit a ER, should be an easy one for Siemens to deliver
