Hi I am new to this forum but desperatly looking for help.
Tried to switch on the laser ( bystronic bystar 3015 ) after 2 weeks of shutdown and we had a mess, there was condenation in the tube area and had a few arcs that damaged some seals and ceramics, we replaced all the damages seals and ceramics and now running a vacum test. The pressure drops to 1 in a matter of 2 - 3 minutes but does not hold, after switching the vacuum pump off the pressure rises very slowly, 1 millibar every 10 - 15 minuets. Tried starting the laser with this and i keep getting overcurrent desk.
Would such a small leak do this?
If yes how can i detect such a leak?
Thanks in advance as i am now desperate and bystronic are not willing to send a tech over due to the covid situation.
