I have struggled with the code committee for foundation drain requirements in Wisconsin. Code committee consists of plumbers. no engineers. Result: Not much cooperation. I am looking for language from municipal or state agencies which properly addresses requirements to prevent plugging of filter, plugging of pipe, etc. With the new Form-a-Drain footing forms I envision even more possible problems due to improper or lack of filtering. A code change or modification may be needed. Comments?
