Does anyone know the requirements for MEP crossing a true building expansion. I have been on jobs where flexible connections were required of all trades. This particular job is in a low seismic zone B and not sure if their were any requirements. The contractor has stated he will have off sets in his piping to allow for expansion. My previous jobs had flexible connections at the building expansion joint.
