Hi all,

In multistorey construction, are there methods used to construct a cavity brick wall from inside the building, achieving a similar quality finish using traditional methods of scaffolding etc.

I'm thinking of a hypothetical situation where a building is sandwiched by two vacant site however permission has not been granted to use the neighbouring land.

I've seen it done on past projects. You will not get anywhere near the quality or finishes you would expect when using scaffolding.

I'd only recommend this method if the wall cannot be seen.

Could you fix a scaffold to your building without supports on the ground? or is airspace an issue
