BS 4871 pt 1

Can anybody tell me in Bs 4871 pt 1 when I get Charpy's done for the welders test piece do I have to take the samples from FL,FL+2,FL=5 AND HAZ.

BS 4871 Part1 was superseded by BS EN 287-1: 1992.
There is/was no requirement for mechanical testing of welders test pieces, only for weld procedure qualification, which is covered by EN ISO 15614-1:2004.

This details test pieces , locations of test samples and the conditions under which impact tests are required. You need to get hold of copies of these standards.
