Break Lines

Does anyone know how to change default settings in a drawing template
so that break lines are automatically created when dimensions are added
to the drawing? I've changed the value in
Tools>Options>>Document Properties>Dimensions>Gap to
what I want it to be, but I still need to manually click on the
dimension and then check the "Break Lines" box. Any suggestions?
