Solidworks enhanced graphic performance stops hidden lines showing in part files

Solidworks 2020, (NVidia RTX4000) - with enhanced graphic performance active there are no hidden lines showing in part files but they do show in assemblies. With ehanced graphic performance switched off they show in part files no problems, any suggestions please?
