Good Afternoon.
How to calculate the required thickness of heat transfer plates in Brazed Plate Heat Exchangers (BPHE) as per Section VIII Division 1? Other code?
Is it a U-2 (g) case?

I really need to know how to do this, either by ASME, EN or other code.

Best Regards!

Regardless of which code is applicable, or not, do you own a copy of the aforementioned codes? Have you actually looked into them?

I am looking for an alternative to calculation and not proof tests.

I already researched in:

ASME VIII, Div. 1
U-2 (g)
UG-101
CODE CASE 2766

Any suggestion?

I’m not experienced with your specific application, and you haven’t shared a lot of details, but which sections of Part UB and Part UHX (or other applicable sections) prevent you from using the ‘base code’?
