Brakes for cable car wires

Good morning everyone,

I'm new here so I'll go straight to the point: does anybody know a company which sells these type of brakes? The application is for a cable car wire, like for example the one of the Mottarone disaster (I know thi is not the best example but the image I've been sent is that one).

I guess it's one of these possibilities:

1. The cable car/ropeway manufacturers make their own.

2. There is one tiny company somewhere in the Alps that makes them, and nothing else.

My guess is that they all design these things themselves using their own design systems

@MintJulep - yes, probably is such a tiny market (or needs everytime different customization) that nobody produces only these brakes, your first assumption is very likely.

@LittleInch - actually, I directly contacted another Italian cable cars manufacturer to get past this issue.
