Hello,
I am wondering if there is a any Stainless Steel Braided Hose within the content centre (using Inventor 2008 Pro), or can anyone advise of a method to produce a similar surface. I would like to produce a 3d stainless Steel Braided Hose

Thanks for any help

Alan

Typically one would apply a texture to simulate the SS braiding.

Hello mcgyvr,

Typically I had made the 'outer core' Expanded metal-02, and the 'Inner core' a Galvanised metal.
This was as close as I could get, I was hoping someone might have had a better solution than my own effort

Thanks

Alan

You can use any images you want. You don't have to be limited to the ones that come with Inventor. I use images taken from google images all the time.

I frequent cgtextures.com quite a bit as well.
