Hi,

I'm looking for a books on the subject tracked undercarriage, especially bulldozer undercarriage design. I'm particularly interested in track frames, tensioning mechanisms, sprocket wheels, idler, rollers, tacked shoes, tracked chain etc.

Thanks in advance.

Thanks, but I'm rather interested in books not short articles.

Yes, full size dozers (especially medium and heavy, up to 70 tons weigh). I'm not interested in tanks undercarriage.

Your OP come to my mind as I remember that the manufacturer Manitou has distributed to contractors using their cranes a specification manual detailing their entire line of cranes. Do the same by contacting bulldozer manufacturers for similar manuals. Also research the library of the periodical Equipment Today as this periodical will summarize construction equipment from which you may be able to gain invaluable insight into your research.
