I saw several listings for good books using Excel for engineering not just basic Excel books. Of course I did not write them down at the time and I cannot relocate the sources. Any one have any knowledge here that would help?

I have "Excel 4 for Scientist and Engineers". It has helped me a lot to program in Excel. Of course, there are probably later versions. If you go to:

you might find exactly what you are looking for.

"Spreadsheet Tools for Engineers"
By Byron S. Gottfried
McGraw-Hill ISBN: 0-07-115301-2
Ben.

Have a look at thread770-16550. Particularly Qshake's comments.
