BOM LINKED WITH EXTERNAL EXCEL FILE

How I can create a link between the BOM from an assembly file and an external Excel or Access file.
I want to consult this file without open SW file and this be kept update with the changes in assembly.

You can try linking cells, but I don't think it's possible with the BOM inside SW.
