Bolt as BEAM188 - Which internal force should be used for bolt check ?

Hi All,

Please see figure below.

Blue and Orange solid steel bodies are bolted with Black beam188 elements. Both ends of the bolt are connected with solids via Red RBE3. Gray plot shows bending moment of the bolt. Bolt is screwed just to some depth in the Orange plate.

Is it good to use for the bolt check, internal forces from the Green section (and not max bedning from bolt's end)? This Green section is at a contact plane between two plates.
