I has been noticed in some concrete casts; a greenish color in the center of the concrete cast (see pictures). Is there any known reason for this, and would it have any adverse effect on the performance of the concrete?

It's likely a matter of what materials were used in the production of the concrete. Some cementitious materials will produce different colors in the curing process.

This had been fully cured. If that was the case I would think that the color would be uniform.
