Yes. We have learned a lot in the past year. What we learned:
Maintain the proper fuel air mixture throughout the boiler, horizontally and vertically continuously as the fuel passes through the boiler for each burner.
Efficiency will optimize, NOx will be reduced, CO will reduce, ash will have reduced LOI.
Monitor and control the combustion process throughout the boiler continuously in real time. Adjust air to match fuel. Fuel flow air flow is not accurate enough. Monitor the rate at which energy is being released at each point in the boiler. It works.
Nanotechnology will soon be used for improved accuracy. At the present there is a new cost effective (less than $10K per point) computer based monitor that will accurately make this measurement. Contact Canalis, LLC, San Antonio, Texas. Reliant and Babcock have also been successful but at greater cost.
Improves fossil combustion efficiency with co-invented cost effective combustion monitor. Reduces NOx, CO, LOI, opacity. haclift@yahoo.com
