I will construct a biofiltration rain garden on my project. This is fresh to us. I just study the plan and that are few layers of the gravel and sand then reach the overflow pipe. Any body have done it before and have any spec have to take note? Have any method to construct it? Appreciate yours idea. Thanks

Tennessee Department of Environment & Conservation has a BMP manual with a few pages of information. You probably need a Landscape Architect to specify appropriate vegetation.

Another good source is from Kansas City. They have worked to promote LID on an individual basis for several years now. Do a google on "1000 raingardens". They have a lot of plant and design info available as well.

You may find something useful in this report from the University of North Caroplina.

Sorry, that's the University of New Hampshire!
