what aresome ofbest computers to run solidworks on? and what os is good also
 
The best computer in the world is DELL. We use dell computers here. Works fine.

best bet is to search online for CAD machine benchmarks. I know they are there, I just can't remember where. I believe they tested Compac/HP and Dell. Both had 3.0+Gh processors, 4gb ram, Nvidia 4500 video and running XP. A friend of mine just got himself an X64 Dell, it screems with solidworks.
