bending box iron

does anyone know the best way to bend hollow box
metal approx 25 * 50mm without it kinking or collapsing?
is any special equipment required?

I haven't tried this on any other than aluminium tube. However fill it up with sand, then seal the ends and then you may be able to bend it.
