Hi,

Is there a way to show on a draft which side the sheet metal has to be bend to get the final piece ? Often, there are draft reading mistakes when a piece is fold and I'd like the draft to be clear on the side of the bend to be make.

Thanks

Um, detailing the finished form as is standard in most drawing systems achieves this - or am I missing something?

I have attached a screenshot of one of our drafts which we then save to a dwg and email to the lasercutting guys. We use the "Bend Table" function to add the bending lines. We use a "Quicksheet Template" so it is only a matter of seconds to create a draft like this.

have a look in the bend table properties - this will give you the format to can use in your callouts, for example -
