I have a pivot shaft with both ends sliding in two slotted holes. Just wonder what kind of bearing I can apply here to get free sliding movement along the slotted holes. The shaft is rotating very slowly and there will be some radial load on the shaft ends interfacing with the slotted holes.

Thanks for the advice.

Even a custom nylon bearing block would do well. All depends on what speeds, forces, and what materials your shaft and slot are.

Igus is an excellent source for data on wear characteristics between shaft material to plastic bearing material.

Nylon, UHMW, HDPE are your cheapest best bets for a custom all in one piece, your mileage may vary based on the above inputs, but they'd all hold up relatively well in a low wear operation.
