I am having some trouble with element output S12 of a beam element using section integration before analysis.
In my main model I am using a general beam section and am therefore required to use integration before analysis.
My simple test model:
I am using a standard rectangular beam profile.
In my section definition I select "section integration: before analysis" and input the material parameters.
I define output points over the cross section of the beam cross-section. I placed the section points at the same locations as default section points that would be used in an analysis with integration during anylsis (see element library).
In field output I request output from my 4 section points.
The analysis is a simple static analysis where I apply a force and torsional moment to the beam which is fixed at one end (simple example).
I expect to receive S11 axial stress and S12 Torsional Stress output.
In the results viewer I can only select S11, S12 is not even displayed in the drop down window.
If I switch the section to integrate during analysis I get both S11 and S12 stress output as expected.
