Ballooning by part vs component

I'm figuring i should now this but at the moment the answer is not coming to me. What is the difference between ballooning by part vs by component?

first difference is simple

component can be a subassembly

if i balloon, by part i can balloon a subassembly (i just did it). The only difference i see is when ballooning by component, you can only use simple balloon (which is enough to make me not want to use it.)

I`vw checked that - I miss option by "part"

Table > Bom baloon > create baloon > by Comp, by Comp and View, by View, show all

Do I miss something?
