I am trying to modify one photo that I took of my house.
The balcony is missing fence and before making one I wanted to se how would it look like. At work we use mainly Proeng 2001 but also have WF1 if it helps.

We never render any our models so I do not have much experience doing something like that. I played a bit with room editor, but onestly it sux.

I would much rather put my picture as a backgroud and orient my fence model so that it looks like it is a part of the picture. I do not need superhigh resolution. Just a quick representation.

Any ideas?

WF 1.0 will allow you to change your background image under the rendering setup. I would probably just make asurface behind the fence and apply the texture to the surface.

A texture on a surface is probably your best bet. Other than the room with the Photorenderer you would have to upgrade to ARX to get a background option with an imagewhen rendering.

Thx for the replys.

Will probably try the texture on surface.
