I am looking for some help from the microstation gurus out there. I have been running Microstation SE along with Eaglepoint 99 on Windows 98. I have recently upgraded machines and am now running Windows XP. I have been getting error messages reading "End of File Missing, Attempt Repair?" when I go to open a drawing. Everything I read tells me to answer "no" to this question and then I am able to reopen the drawing. This is an inconvenience but I can work around this.

The problem comes in when I have to use Eaglepoint to open a drawing. Eaglepoint attempts to launch Microstation, but I get the same error message but am not able to reopen Microstation and the screen goes white. I am asked to run Eaglepoint without opening CADD which does me no good at all.

Does anyone else have this problem and if so is there a patch or something I can do. Right now all I can do is run Microstation but can't do any design work using Eaglepoint. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You have to edit the file in EDG. Look into the Microstation help area for EDG. EDG will allow you to put back the "end of file marker"
