automatic sketcher window

is there any chance to turn off the switch to the sketching window if you want to extrude an edge from a solid or sheet body?

Set the Curve rule to "Single curve" or connected curve or ... then pick the edge and avoid the face.

You can set what curve rule shall be the default rule when you select the extrude feature in the customer defaults.
