Conversion Status Window

First I'd like to thank all the active members who provide the helpful guidance. You have benefitted more than just the people asking the questions, and it is much appreciated.

On to my question.

Current Version NX2212

I have found that while creating specifically stp conversions there is no status window. The conversion is performed in the background, with no indication of completion. Our previous NX12 would automatically open a status window, which I found helpful. The status window would close once the conversion was completed. Is there a toggle or setting that will open the status window in 2212?

Am I the only one who found the status window reassuring?

I don't think there is an option to bring the command (DOS) window back. NX will let you know in the notification area when it is done, but won't tell you what is going on while the translation is running.

Edit: you might want to try the external translator (if you are running native NX), it might still show the command window (I've not confirmed this).
