Hi all,

We are currently modelling a car park conventional 225 RC slab in SAFE. the slab is flat (no drop panel or band beams). It is supported by precast panels along the boundaries, central core and concrete columns between the core and the external walls.

We have checked the deflection with and without modelling the rigid zone and the the deflection range from 25mm (with rigid zone) to 55mm (without rigid zone).

What's define a rigid zone?

Thanks
