I am currently trying to model a square vacuum chamber that is constructed out of a square tubular frame with plates bolted to the sides. I am using screw fasteners to attach the plates and the frame in mechanica, but when I start AutoGEM it immediately fails with the error

--The requested operation failed because it results in
the deletion of the highlighted entity. This entity is
associated to a fastener which cannot be deleted.

Source: AutoGEM--

The highlighted entity is the end edge of one of the screw fasteners. I have not been using Mechanica for very long so any suggestions would be appreciated.

If possible can you post the model or a picture of geometry? Also, are you using any mid-surface compression to create shell elements. This process can remove geometry faces that might be referenced by other mechanica entities.

Thanks for the advice Steve, I was able to get the model working by simplifying some of the geometry near the screw connections.
