Hi,

I get this message,

The auto recovery directory does not exist. Please use tools/options/backup/recovery to create the auto recovery directory.

When i go to tools/options/backup/recovery, I see nothing wrong/missing?

Am i missing something?

You probably have removed this directory. So currently it doesn't exist. Try to choose different existing directory.

Are you logged into the computer as Administrator? If not you probably can't write to that directory because it is read only, if you can even see it at all.

Change the directory to one that exists and is able to be accessed by the account you are logged in under.

This error means that the SolidWorks is crashed. Do you have this error each time? And what the action cause the crash?
