I have seen in another topic (that is closed from 2007 - thread507-177268), that previously some info was shared from vendor catalos of the mid-1970's, specifically an " Atlas-Turner catalog " ... if anyone has info on that, that could be shared it would be greatly appreciated.

What specifically I have is a roof decking system installed in 1977 at an Industrial site. The Decking is described as a "ATLAS CAVITY DECKING" and is shown as being 4 11/16 inches deep. Looking for info on span tables vs. loading and more specifically, any material thicknesses, properties, etc.

Thanks

ranmoo....you might want to check to see if the Atlas Cavity Decking was actually used. It is a cement-asbestos product that might give you some regulatory problems depending on your locale and prevaling laws regarding asbestos abatement.

Thank you for the insight. Yes, I am aware of the possibility / probability of the issue you stated. Still hoping to see some data from the vendor, and it looked like the referenced 2007 eng-tips post may have shared some of that info. THANKS AGAIN
