All,

Is there a ASTM standard which covers post-tension bars greater than 1-3/8"? ASTM A722 covers bars only up to that dimension. Has anyone else had experience with specifying bars that are larger than the 1-3/8"?

Qshake,

you may with to check you date of ASTM A722. i think the lastest standard mentions up to 2 1/2". also see WILLIAMS FORM and DYWIDAG for details.

i have personally used 1 3/4" grade 150 ksi, and 2 1/2" grade 75, the latter not being prestressed, but basically high strength rebar will all-threads.

regards,
