For storage crude oil (medium corrosive) which material should be use ASTM A283-C or A36?
As per API 650 both are may to used.
My question is what considerations to choosing or determining one of listed materials above?
Which material have susceptible corrosion A283-C or A36?

There isn't a any difference in the nominal corrosion rates between the two materials in the majority of media.

If as you post your crude is corrosive and there is some corrosion there will be no measurable difference between the two material in your service.
