Hai, The following line is Mandatory in Pipes and to be mentioned in MTC's? "The weld seam of electric-resistance welded pipe in Grade B shall be heat treated after welding".

Not sure I completely follow your question. But let's see if I'm on the right path.

Yes, according to ASTM Specification A53, it reads as follows:

4. Materials and Manufacture

4.3 The weld seam of electric-resistance welded pipe in Grade B shall be heat treated after welding to a minimum of 1000 °F [540 °C] so that no untempered martensite remains, or
otherwise processed in such a manner that no untempered martensite remains.​
 
This is commonly done by the mill using an induction heating unit. We used a TOCO unit for this purpose.
