assigning spring in local axis

hi all ,

I would to share with you an issue that I have faced in ETABS while assigning spring stiffness for joint, I need to assign spring stiffness in the -x but i cant assign -ve stiffness value, what are the alternative options to do so ?

Why would you need a skew spring?
Springs are tensors and their transformation to another (skew) coordinate system is not a simple task.
