Assigning relationships in Assembly - aligning

We are currently using SolidEdge 12 (can't seem to talk them into an upgrade!)

My question is simple, while building a simple assembly of a some square parts of different sizes, I would like to align them centered within each other. It can be done by applying an offset to the sides, but there must be a simpler way, is there not a tool or technique to do this in one step?

We have been using SolidEdge for a couple of years now, but until recently have been using it for a very specific type of drawing, so we have not come up against this before.

Thanks in advance!

Build your parts so that they are symetrical about the reference planes and use the planes when mating the parts.

[cheers] & all the best.

Of course it is something very simple! I gave it a try and it works perfectly. I have hidden the planes out of habit, so was not aware that you could use them to align objects the same way the visable planes can be....

Many thanks....
