I'm working with 12.1 Mechanical APDL and trying to write a macro that outputs strain data. I'd like to output interlaminate shear strain on a shell element, unfortunately the program only outputs shear stress. I'd like to just divide the table by the strain modulus (GXZ,GYZ), but do it in a way that I don't have to manually type in the modulus in the macro. Does anyone know of any sort-of lookup command that will allow me to put the modulus of the material as a factor in the SMULT command?

JHLynn,

I am not 100# if this is possible in Classic, but you can either export your results to ANSYS Classic or use ANSYS Classic command to get what you want. ANSYS has not implemented everything from Classic in WorkBench yet.

Have you checked if the interlaminate shear strain is available as a user defined result?
